Young voters all over Malaysia came to participate in campaigns in their respective parliamentary constituencies to show their support for Barisan Nasional candidates.
BN candidate for Gerik Parliament, Datuk Dr. Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki expressed his happiness when he witnessed the rise of young people to support BN in the 15th General Election.
In a Facebook post, he stated, “excited to see the rise of the young people to support BN and are about to fulfill their first responsibility as a citizen to elect the ruling government.”
He believes the young generation is more mature to evaluate the party that carries their voice, without being influenced by various perceptions and emotional toys that are prevalent on social media.
Asyraf Wajdi said that lots of young people showed their commitment and inclination towards a government that is believed to be able to create a future that is stable and harmonious.
Other than that, the Pergerakan Pemuda UMNO Chief also believes in the maturity of the young voters to evaluate the party that has always been elevating them and at the same time not being swayed by the unfulfilled sweet promises as what can be seen in GE14.
“Not enthralled by promises and exciting offers but in the end could not be implemented as in the last GE14. Don’t be fooled by their personality, sometimes it is ‘Indah Khabar daripada rupa,” he explained.
